Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional project management skills, and a deep understanding of fintech systems and applications. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and oversee all aspects of the project lifecycle.
You will:
Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, business system analysts, data scientists, learning & communications specialists, etc...)
Provide guidance, motivation, and support to project team members
Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or issues promptly
Facilitate effective communication between project team and stakeholders
Distribute allocated resources efficiently across tasks and responsibilities to ensure project success
Manage third-party vendors and contractors, if applicable
Works on problems of diverse scope and complexity where solutions may have to be based on limited information
Regularly review and analyze project performance against established metrics and client expectations
Develop utilization and success metrics for initiatives within projects you support and collaborate with data teams to design and implement
Identify potential risks to project success, and develop mitigation plans
Proactively address issues to prevent disruptions to project timelines and deliverables
Handle change requests and implement changes while managing project scope
Evaluate the impact of changes on project timelines and budgets
Identify opportunities for resistance from impacted groups and develop mitigation plans to overcome
