Orlando Based GC with commercial projects throughout the state of Florida, projects ranging from $1-15M in the private and public sectors. Projects include, retail, k12, healthcare.

Job Description

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing and coordinating subcontractors, vendors and project/job activities to maintain project schedule and quality of work across all trades. Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory role within the retail/commercial construction field.

The Successful Applicant
 •  Above average written and oral communication skills
 •  Ability to travel is a MUST and requires extended time at one location until project completion. A weekly per-diem/travel allowance is provided.
 •  Should be able to operate company-provided tablet. Emails, progress pictures, plans, reports, etc. will need to be communicated to the home office electronically
 •  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite of programs - Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
 •  Experience and proficiency with Procore or other construction/project management programs is a plus.
 •  Maintain project schedule and identify potential setbacks before they affect the finish date
 •  MUST have reliable transportation
 •  Strong leadership and organizational skills required
 •  Maintain professional appearance at all times
 •  Maintain and promote client and vendor/subcontractor relations
 •  Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
