COMPANY OVERVIEW:Join a leading Commercial General Contractor based in Houston, specializing in ground-up projects across various sectors including Healthcare, Education, Cultural, Hospitality, and Interiors/Renovations. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality construction projects, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Superintendent to join the team.
POSITION OVERVIEW:As a Healthcare Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful completion of healthcare construction projects, including hospitals, laboratories, and other medical facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare construction, encompassing ground-up projects, renovations, and build-outs.
With a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.
HEALTHCARE SUPERINTENDENT- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage all aspects of healthcare construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols, including OSHA 30 standards, to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality assessments to uphold construction standards and quality assurance.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and RFIs.
HEALTHCARE SUPERINTENDENT- QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction, with a focus on healthcare projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing ground-up healthcare construction projects, renovations, and build-outs.
• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate subcontractors and project teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance and adherence to project specifications.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Previous experience with reputable companies and a history of good tenures is preferred.
• Experience in commercial construction is required; candidates with solely multi-family/residential experience will not be considered.
