Job Description
  1.  

Payroll Administration:

 •  Process payroll for employees accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with local, state, and international regulations.
 •  Maintain payroll records and data integrity, including salaries, deductions, and employee classifications.
 •  Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and external stakeholders.
 •  Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll transactions and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

Benefits Management:

 •  Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other welfare benefits.
 •  Coordinate open enrollment activities and communicate benefit changes to employees.
 •  Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries and issue resolution.
 •  Liaise with benefit providers and vendors to ensure seamless delivery of services and resolve any issues that may arise.

Compliance and Reporting:

 •  Stay informed about changes in relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices related to payroll and benefits.
 •  Ensure compliance with tax regulations, reporting requirements, and statutory obligations in all jurisdictions where the company operates.
 •  Generate regular reports and metrics related to payroll and benefits administration for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies.

Process Improvement:

 •  Identify opportunities to streamline payroll and benefits processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.
 •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and system enhancements.
 •  Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing HR operations and driving organizational effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant
 •  Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
 •  5-8 years of progressive experience in HR operations, with a focus on payroll and benefits administration, preferably in the financial services or asset management industry.
 •  Strong understanding of payroll processing principles, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in multiple jurisdictions.
 •  Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) and proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
 •  Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
 •  Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
 •  Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
 •  SHRM-CP, CPP, or other relevant HR certifications are a plus.
