As a Project Manager at Tofel Dent Construction, you will be responsible for the construction schedule and budget (on average $15M) of medium to large multi family construction projects. To be successful in this position you must be able to build and maintain professional relationships with project owners, design teams, subcontractors and municipality officials.
You must have experience with project buyout of this size and the ability to hold subcontractors accountable. We are looking for someone who has experience managing multi family projects, construction industry knowledge and a strong understanding of the project management process.
. This is a fast-paced position that requires excellent organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Plan and oversee construction projects from start to finish
Schedule and coordinate subcontractors and internal teams
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
Manage and document project progress, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Analyze and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and communicate with stakeholders about any potential hazards
Monitor quality control and ensure that all work meets client expectations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
5+ years of experience in construction project management
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
Proficient in project management software and tools such as Microsoft Project and ProCore
Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and building codes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans
Experience managing budgets and analyzing cost data
