We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join a dynamic and growing contractor in the Baltimore area who has experience working on bridge repair projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cleaning/painting, epoxy protective coatings, overlay, concrete repair projects for bridges and/or highway coating projects.
Duties and Responsibilities Include the following:
1. Demonstrate understanding of standard concepts, specification, practices, and procedures in the construction field.
2. Effective communication with the crew foreman, other Project Managers and Senior management.
3. Effective and organized planner
4. Detailed
4. Blueprint reading/ take offs
5. Attend meetings with contractors, clients, or A/E representatives to coordinate construction activities
6. Create and process RFI's and proposed solutions
5. Conduct frequent jobsite visits and reports
7. Draft letters to owners/clients as issues and problems arise
8. Responsible for the review and maintenance of subcontractor compliance
9. Creating job schedule and coordinate resources/logistics to accommodate the schedule
10. Prepare submittals and see that they are all carried through
11. Deal with vendors/ subcontractors to obtain pricing
12. Must be willing to travel time to time
