Human Resource Coordinator

The Human Resource Manager will plan, lead, and coordinate the routine functions of Human Resources. This position will oversee the recruiting, interviewing and hiring of new staff, process payroll, administer benefits, and serve as a crucial link between an organization's management and its employees.
This position is based in Houston, Texas

Responsibilities
 •  Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
 •  Oversee hiring process, which includes coordinating and posting jobs, reviewing resumes, interviewing candidates, analyzing personality assessments, and performing reference checks
 •  Monitor annual performance management and goal setting processes and proactively coach employees and managers
 •  Partner with key stakeholders to plan and execute professional development strategies to enhance their professional and interpersonal skills
 •  Assist in the development, implementation, and delivery of new and existing performance management process and training programs
 •  Responsible for all human resources operations, including compensation, benefit administration, paid time off, recruitment, new hire on-boarding and training, record keeping, and personnel policy development.
 •  Work with executive management team to coordinate hiring, salary determinations and adjustments, and staff terminations.
 •  Maintain all personnel records, ensuring all employment documents are current and safeguarded.
 •  Ensure compliance with employment laws, government agencies and company policies and procedures.
 •  Process payroll activities semi-monthly and resolves payroll issues in a timely manner.
 •  Assure that all fiscal internal controls are implemented.
 •  Maintain required records, reports, and files.

 •  Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
 •  Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
 •  Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
 •  Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
 •  Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations
 •  HRIS and talent management systems.
 •  Must work with Operations leadership to maximize the Local Houston Office Space (currently Bellaire and will remain inside the Beltway, West of 59)
 •  Must work at the Houston Office minimum 2 Days per Week, 8-6 CT
 •  Must have business-level bilingual fluency in both English and Spanish
 •  Must be a US Passport-holder and have the ability to travel to Quito, Ecuador 4-6 times per year

Education and Experience:

 •  Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
 •  A minimum of 2-3 years of human resource management experience preferred.
 •  SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
