We are currently seeking a Controller/Director to join our growing Fund Accounting team. Ideal candidates will have at least seven years of experience working in Fund Accounting as a fund administrator, bank, or other financial services institution.

Responsibilities
Controller/Director will be responsible for providing the following to our clients
Serve as main point of contact with clients, to service all non-investment aspects of their firm
Oversee client servicing teams, to provide a team-based high quality work product encompassing daily, monthly and year-end finance cycle, as follows (not a comprehensive list):
Play an active role in the onboarding of new funds and new clients
Prepare all required recurring items including the month-end close packages containing financial statements and supporting files, transparency reports, and investor statements
Responsible for the preparation of year-end financial statements, including all statements and disclosures, and coordination with audit team for timely completion of audit
Preparation of fund's capital calls and distributions, and fund expense payments and budgeting
As required, responsible for management company oversight as it relates to finance, budgeting and vendor review
Ad-hoc requests and special projects as necessary
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience; 2-3 years of managerial experience, preferably in Fund Accounting & Private Equity
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, strong Excel skills a plus
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail with a hands-on approach; willingness to dive deep into anything
Ability to problem solve and identify alternative solutions to complex situations
Ability to work autonomously and identify areas for continuous improvement
Proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously
Ideally non-finance background and working towards CPA.
Compensation: A base of $(phone number removed) per annum, plus bonus and benefits
