Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 •  Prepare engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications, and permit applications;
 •  Prepare and review technical documents including both writing and the creation of visual exhibits and maps;
 •  Design Civil and/or water resources infrastructure related to stormwater management systems landfill design, and site layout;
 •  Act as assistant project manager and support proposal development, budgeting, scheduling, scope control, delegation;
 •  Conduct and manage fieldwork associated with design and construction services;
 •  Prepare task orders and proposals including scope of work, cost/fee estimates, schedule, presentations, etc.;
 •  Coordinate work efforts with multi-disciplinary project teams; and
 •  Play a supporting role in our sell-manage-do business model, business development, recruiting, staff development, and mentoring.

Education and Licensure:

 •  Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering. (required)
 •  Advanced degree in civil or environmental engineering. (preferred)
 •  Professional Engineer license (P.E.) (preferred)

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

 •  At least 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
 •  Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
 •  Strong technical writing, project management, and communication skills. (required)
 •  Experience with design software tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D. (required)
 •  Occasional fieldwork and overnight travel. (required)
 •  Experience in managing a project or task-level budget of at least $25k. (preferred)
 •  Experience with modeling and design software tools such as HydroCAD, ICPR, EPA-SWMM, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and ArcGIS. (preferred)
 •  Experience conducting field investigations. (preferred)
 •  An outstanding track record for client management and technical leadership. (preferred)
 •  Experience in scoping, cost estimating, and scheduling. (preferred)
