Job Description: ACT1 Federal is seeking a Foreign Military Sales Instructional Designer for NAVSEA SEA01C.

Responsibilities:

Defining clear learning objectives and creates compelling content.

Interacting with subject matter experts (SMEs) to collect information based on learners’ needs.

Creating a detailed storyboard of how a course should look and which interactions it should include.

Creating supporting materials that include multimedia, e.g., audio, video, and screenshots.

Differentiating between the types of learners that will benefit from the instruction from those who will have difficulty comprehending the materials and identify how the materials will be used in the curriculum.

Recommending instructional strategies.

Developing a needs assessment/analysis plan.

Conducting a needs assessment/analysis and collect data.

Identifying discrepancies based on analysis of data collection.

Recommending options that solve the discrepancies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in education.

A minimum of 12 years of specialized experience in curriculum design.

Education requirement will substitute four (4) years of specialized experience.

Preferred:

Security Assistance and Foreign Military Sales experience is desired.

Past work with the US Navy, specifically at NAVSEA is desired
