The Opportunity

This position works out of our St. Paul location in the Structural Heart division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life through the design and provision of device and management solutions for the treatment of structural heart disease.

As the Senior Finance Manager, you will provide leadership oversight, coordination and planning, in order to help the organization, execute on revenue and margin goals by providing business intelligence and sales operations support though quota-setting, resource and alignment tracking, data modeling/analysis, reporting on key performance indicators, as well as many other ad-hoc analyses.
This role will also lead a team that is responsible for delivering analytics and business support to enable informed decision making by executive staff as well as presentation worthy performance summaries to be shared with senior leaders across the Corporation.

What You’ll Work On
 •  Serve as a business advisor and internal consultant to the Division Vice President and Area Vice Presidents to drive sales growth through actionable measures
 •  Develop field resource deployment strategies, create and roll-out sales team quotas, organizational structure, and customer account alignments
 •  Consolidate field revenue forecasts incorporating historic, trended, and current business information
 •  Support product launches through scenario modeling, market research and product launch dashboards
 •  Develop flexible, comprehensive tools to support program proposals and tracking focused on ROI and fully-burdened margin profitability as well as developing system solutions and process improvements that meet the needs of the financial planning and/or reporting requirements.
 •  Develop and maintain an organization capable of meeting Division and Corporate requirements, including but not limited to mobilizing staff to work in teams, facilitate teamwork to increase quality and productivity, assume direct responsibility for results, empower others while maintaining high performance standards; responsible for staff development, mentoring, performance management, engagement and recognition, administrative duties, etc.
 •  Establish and maintain and effective and efficient planning process for the division and operational functions being supported, including coordination of a planning calendar with key dates and deliverables.
 •  Accountable for implementation of strategy, scope, process and programs related to sales planning and/or reporting. Provide significant and positive impact to short-term, mid-range and long-term organizational goals. Demonstrate continual improvement in financial planning and/or reporting. Create a work environment that supports cross-functional team effectiveness. Management and development of reporting staff; mentor others as appropriate.
 •  Demonstrated appropriate level of leadership experience to lead and influence.
 •  Requires high levels of competence, confidence and credibility.
 •  Strategic and tactical decisions will be made based upon data the individual provides and/or presents in a management or informal setting. Consequences of erroneous decisions or recommendations would normally include critical delays and modifications to projects or operations with substantial expenditure of time, human resources and funds and may jeopardize future business activity.

Required Qualifications
 •  Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required; preference for degree in Accounting or Finance.
 •  Minimum 8 years relevant experience to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.
 •  Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately communicate with others through various means.
 •  Interact with finance and non-finance professionals at all levels.
 •  Ability or aptitude to supervise others, ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships.
 •  Display socially and professionally appropriate behavior; ability to work independently and in groups.
 •  Demonstrate initiative, analytical thinking, critical-thinking, problem solving skills, ability to operate independently and in groups.

Preferred Qualifications
 •  CPA or MBA preferred.

The base pay for this position is $109,300.00 – $218,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
