Job Description

As a Healthcare Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of our healthcare construction projects in Chicago, IL. Your key responsibilities will include:

  1.  Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.
  2.  Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to coordinate all construction activities effectively.
  3.  Monitor and enforce compliance with building codes, regulations, and quality standards.
  4.  Lead and motivate on-site teams to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  5.  Conduct regular inspections and address any issues or challenges promptly to maintain project progress.
  6.  Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-saving measures.
  7.  Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1.  A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on healthcare construction projects.
  2.  Strong knowledge of healthcare-specific building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  3.  Demonstrated success in overseeing complex construction projects from start to finish.
  4.  Proven ability to lead and inspire on-site teams to deliver exceptional results.
  5.  Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  6.  Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse stakeholders.
  7.  Valid driver's license and ability to travel to construction sites
