DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
The ideal candidate will provide technical knowledge to assist maintenance and production personnel in the implementation of civil/structure related modifications/improvements and coordinate third party Engineering companies to meet the business goals of AM/NSCalvert.
The Basics:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
• 6+ years of experience in engineering in an industrial, construction, or similar industry
• Knowledge of civil/structural industrial applications; drainage standards, abatement, international building code, pavement, reinforced concrete applications, roadways, foundations, and steel structure applications
• Proficient with AutoCAD 16 or later
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
The Extras:
• Solid Works and REVIT experience a plus
• P.E.
preferred

• Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Provide technical support and consultancy to the management structure in the civil/structural disciplines
• Coordinate Engineering activities to support maintenance areas in the implementation of building and other civil related modifications and/or improvements, including technical analysis, proposals and alternatives evaluation, cost estimates, diligence, and visual inspections
• Coordinate third party engineering contracting services from the scope definition phase, to the close out document phase; ensuring the non:interference of new deployments in existing processes, through participation and analysis in its developing phase
