About Our Client

Job Description
 •  Resolve distribution matters relating to distribution centers; third-party consolidation and storage facilities.
 •  Orchestration of daily outbound transportation routing; cohesive customer service relations; resolution of supply chain management issues; and long-term strategic planning in support of company plans and objectives.
 •  Oversee state-wide allocation of resources to optimize distribution productivity; adherence to regulations and policies; communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best in class distribution service model; planned execution within budgets and expense controls.
 •  Ensures all aspects of safety and DOT requirements are rigorously enforced.
 •  Oversee vehicle management and monitor vehicle gross weights.
 •  Determine integration of processes to ensure seamless support, enforcement of safety standards, productivity and benchmarks.
 •  Oversee performance of third-party logistics providers, reverse logistics and associated service providers.
 •  Spearhead resolution relating to packing, packaging, trailer loading and timing of deliveries.
 •  Reinforce performance management skills with direct reports. Encourage the development and coaching of team members to achieve performance goals and objectives.
 •  Reinforce communication flow between management and team members and other stakeholders and networks.
 •  Develop standards for team - managing with vision and purpose, clearly communicating and giving direction and validating results.
 •  Create culture of a high performance: where team members feel challenged, know how to be successful, are encouraged to do their best, and are recognized for their accomplishments.
 •  Develop effective strategies to increase operational efficiencies and strive for continuous improvement.
 •  Resolve supply chain management inefficiencies between key stakeholders.

The Successful Applicant
 •  Proven track record of achieving excellence through fostering strong relationships, delivering on priorities, problem-solving, building capability and leadership, and developing high-performing teams.
 •  Strong knowledge of project management principles including development and coordination of plans, communication, collaboration, and time management.
 •  Technical aptitude with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data visualization applications (such as GIS, Tableau, etc.) is essential for success.
 •  Experience with project management methodology including PMP/Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen.
 •  Experience organizing and tracing orders using software such as Roadnet or similar programs.
 •  Capable of effective decision making and the ability to manage sustainable change while remaining customer solutions oriented.
 •  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team, as well as manage people; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
 •  Ability to coach, develop, supervise, and train staff.
 •  Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds to include boxes, equipment and/or supplies.

 •  This position will have a varied work schedule that includes nights and weekends to meet the program scheduling needs and achieve deliverables.

Must possess personal vehicle and valid NJ driver's license.
