Qualis Corporation is seeking multiple experienced Operations Analysts or Data Scientists or Statisticians with demonstrated qualifications and proven experience in requirements documentation, test design, data collection, analysis, and reporting for our nation's most strategic, and significant space systems in support of Operational Test and Evaluation.
The primary work location will be at Buckley Space Force Base, CO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze, characterize system performance and report results of OT and IT&E events

Identify appropriate test tools and methods required to conduct OT

Develop data collection methodologies and tools

Identify OT data that can be collected during DT events (Integrated Testing)

Review and analyze test plans for Developmental Test (DT)

Identify deficiencies in DT test plans and data requirements that must be addressed in OT

Perform analysis of the system

Perform analysis of test capabilities

Identify test capability requirements

Design tests using Design of Experiments (DOE)

Review, analyze developmental contractor’s systems documentation

Analyze subsystem’s technology readiness levels

Participate in and represent OT interests during Integrated Testing

Participate in dedicated OT events

Requirements

Must possess a bachelor's of science degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Data Science.

A master’s degree in one of these fields is highly desirable

Minimum of 6 years of experience in the field of Operations Research is required

Background in operational testing highly desired

Have strong background in development of R and/or Python code supporting statistical and graphical analyses

Background in space systems, missile warning, satellite communications, global positioning system, space situational awareness, or overhead persistent infrared systems is desired

Position requires practical application of: Independently formulating and applying design of experiments

Independently formulating and applying statistics including, but not limited to, confidence intervals, tolerance inverals, ANOVA, Generalized Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, and Factor Analysis

Independently creating automated analytical tools as necessary

Academic and practical application of the verification, validation and accreditation of modeling and simulation

Air Force Institute of Technology Test and Evaluation certificate is highly desired

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while able to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines

Must have ability to quickly understand customers’ overall technical objectives and mission to provide effective solutions

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer interaction and presentation capabilities

Must be able to work effectively alone, unsupervised, or within a group

U.S. Citizenship required

Security Clearance:

Must hold an active DoD Top Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible

Must be able to maintain level of clearance required for this position
