We are offering a role for an Accountant at the entry level in the banking industry, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States. This role involves examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting records to prepare statements and/or advise management.
It also includes providing support to deal teams in commercial and corporate investment banking.

Responsibilities:

 •  Provide support for deal origination and execution to Commercial and Corporate Investment bank deal teams.
 •  Read and interpret complex credit documentation, determine operational feasibility, provide feedback, and recommendations as warranted.
 •  Responsible for accurate and timely set up of all agency-related systems.
 •  Collaborate with various members of the deal team included but not limited to attorneys, customers, and investors to ensure a smooth closing.
 •  Provide feedback to deal structuring team on operational market trends and any preferred deal structure.
 •  Manage loan funding activity and the funding process with Corporate Treasury, syndicate lenders, etc.
 •  Calculation and tracking of complex interest and fee accruals at various rate levels across changing lender distributions.
 •  Confirm all conditions precedent have been met and compliance items meet the established banking guidelines.
 •  Demonstrate accurate and timely completion of customer service and research in accordance with the credit agreement.
 •  Minimize credit and business risk through awareness of procedure, compliance, and bank policy.
 •  Process system changes for pricing related changes, documented loan amendments, and modifications.
 •  Manage pipeline of assigned closing transactions. • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
 •  Proficiency in Customer Service and Workstation Support is essential.
 •  Strong skills in Documentation, Compliance and Research are required.
 •  Knowledge of Pricing, Credit, and Loan Administration is necessary.
 •  Experience in Closing, Modification, and Language Interpretation is beneficial.
 •  Familiarity with Market Trends, P & L Calculation, and Restructuring is advantageous.
 •  Understanding of Accruals, Amendments, and Investment Banking is valuable.
 •  Awareness of Bank Policy, Corporate Treasury, and Banking Operation is important.
 •  Proficiency in interpreting and understanding Deal Structure and Credit Agreements is required.
 •  Experience in Deal Structuring and working with Deal Teams is beneficial.
 •  Must be able to adapt to changing situations and work under pressure.
 •  Strong organizational and multitasking abilities are required.
 •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
 •  Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards is crucial.
 •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software is required.
 •  Must be legally eligible to work in the country of employment.
