Position Title: General Maintenance Mechanic
Location: 1715 Franklin Blvd
Duration: 6 Months
Work Schedule: 7-3:30, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Removal and replacement of HVAC Filters.
Removal, installation and adjustment of belts and associated sheaves.
Greasing of mechanical equipment
Servicing of pumps, motors and other equipment associated with HVAC equipment.
This position is more of a Building mechanical person. So, building maintenance would be a better description moving forward.
Filter changes and belt changes on mechanical building equipment is one of the many components that the positions do.
They also repair trash compacters, fix gates, troubleshoot chilled water and heating systems, and repair them, install, and repair exhaust fans, fume hoods, etc. So, we are looking for someone with a strong Mechanical background.
To be considered for this position, you should have:
Valid Oregon Driver's license.
Able to stand and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to use computer software and iPad Applications.
