We are looking for a Remote Escrow officer responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include:
Actively seeking new business by attending sales meetings, real estate events, escrow, and management meetings and interacting with lending and banking to increase capture rate.
Preparing closing disclosures, escrow agreements, and all other settlement documents according to lender and/or buyer/seller instructions.
Clearly communicating and collaborating with cross-functional departments in Customer Experience, Brokerage, Contract Operations, and Funding to promptly troubleshoot and resolve any issues in the Title process to avoid delays
Obtaining clear title by curing title defects, satisfying existing liens and encumbrances against property or principals, and verifying proper vesting.
Providing correct lender closing instructions and overseeing the receipt and proper disbursement of funds; ensuring all outstanding checks and escrowed funds are properly managed.
Specific qualifications for the position include:
3+ years of experience as a Licensed Escrow Officer with their own book of business.
Exceptional verbal and written customer service skills that help form positive relationships both internally and externally.
Confidence working with technologies (Google Suite) and specialty software (e.g. Qualia) Will train if needed.
Working knowledge of state-level escrow rules and regulations enforced by Dept of Insurance.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
