Opening with our client for a Senior Process Engineer. Looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead process improvement initiatives, particularly focusing on threading, saw cutting, end forming, abrasive blasting, and coupling operations.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) manufacturing and a strong background in process engineering. The role involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across various production processes.

Responsibilities

Lead process improvement projects, including analyzing current processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing solutions to optimize efficiency and quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process enhancements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to evaluate proposed process improvements and technology upgrades.

Utilize continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen to drive operational excellence.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to production teams, troubleshooting issues and resolving challenges to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flow diagrams.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to manufacturing processes and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent field required; Master's Degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the OCTG manufacturing industry.

2+ years management experience within heavy manufacturing industry

Strong understanding of threading, saw cutting, end forming, abrasive blasting, and coupling processes.

Demonstrated experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Kaizen.

Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.

Prior experience in a leadership or management role preferred.

Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to manufacturing processes and safety.
