Position Overview:

The Vice President of Customer Marketing and Analytics is a critical member of the Marketing leadership team who is responsible for accelerating SiteOne’s growth via actionable customer analytics and measurement, data-driven customer lifecycle marketing, and loyalty initiatives.
This leader will work closely with key partners in Marketing, Category, Pricing, Digital, and Regional Field Leaders to develop and execute a roadmap of improved, actionable customer data. In addition, the VP of Customer Marketing and Analytics is responsible for gathering insights from the data that guide our strategic plans and priorities and translate into effective marketing programs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

 •  Marketing:
 •  Lead efforts to market to the customer across lifecycle stages: new, growing, declining, etc.
 •  Drive loyalty through marketing and field initiatives.
 •  Continue to enhance our Loyalty program.
 •  Support technology efforts that make marketing more efficient.
 •  Understand 1:1 communication and evolve into propensity driven communications.
 •  Partner with Marketing, Category, Pricing and Digital leaders to develop multi-year strategies and business plans by providing strategic customer insights and clear business focus areas.
 •  Communicate and present plans and initiatives to executive leadership.
 •  Analytics:
 •  Lead a team responsible for customer analytics, marketing and digital analytics, customer lifecycle marketing, marketing technology and inside sales support.
 •  Lead the team in accelerating our knowledge of the customer and acting on those insights to drive growth and loyalty.
 •  Focus on optimization of marketing and digital programs through critical metrics.
 •  Provide a view of the current customer experience through customer metrics and NPS.
 •  Deliver customer data and insights that lead to better overall experiences for our customers.

Skills We Are Seeking::

 •  Bachelor's degree in analytics, communications, marketing, or equivalent experience.
 •  8 – 10 years in analytics or customer insights.
 •  8 – 10 years in marketing role or supporting marketing teams.
 •  Green Industry or Distribution experience a plus.
 •  Experience in Customer Analytics and/or Insights and a proven history of working with others across organizations to solve business problems via data-driven solutions.
 •  Proven business acumen and analytics expertise.
 •  Customer Analytics and Insights experience to enhance customer data.
 •  Ability to identify measurement structure for marketing and digital platforms.
 •  Creative mind that can articulate a vision.
 •  Leadership and the ability to collaborate.
 •  Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
 •  Strong analytical ability with active listening skills.
 •  Ability to work accurately with close attention to detail.
 •  Willingness and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines.
 •  Great communication skills, including presentation and training abilities.
 •  Planning and project management skills.
 •  Ability to build a team environment.
 •  Ability to deal with highly sensitive and confidential information.
