Receptionist
We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Receptionist in FORT WAYNE, Indiana. This role is primarily focused on providing front desk support in a fast-paced government office setting. The Receptionist will play a key role in managing multiple tasks simultaneously, with a focus on customer service and data entry.
PART-TIME HOURS: 15 HOURS A WEEK MONDAY - WEDNESDAY - FRIDAY 8:00am - 1:00pm
SUMMER HOURS (JUNE-AUGUST): MONDAY - WEDNESDAY - THURSDAY 8:00am - 1:00pm
Responsibilities:
• Managing the front desk, including answering multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments, and maintaining organized files
• Delivering high-quality customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
• Conducting data entry tasks with accuracy, ensuring all customer records are up-to-date
• Managing email correspondence, effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word for various administrative tasks
• Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills, fostering a positive and service-oriented work environment
• Actively participating in community-minded activities and initiatives
• Adapting to a fast-paced work environment, effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Receptionist or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Experience with answering multi-line phone systems
• Strong customer service skills and a detail oriented telephone manner
• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with various internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in scheduling appointments in a detail oriented setting
• Ability to handle email correspondence in a detail oriented and timely manner
• Organizational skills for managing and maintaining files and records
