Job Description

The Construction Estimator is in charge of:

 •  The Estimator is responsible for: Analyzing project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine accurate cost estimates
 •  Collaborating with various parties (architects, subs, etc.) to gather necessary information
 •  Preparing and submitting comprehensive, competitive bids and proposals
 •  Evaluating and comparing subcontractor and supplier quotes
 •  Conducting value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality
 •  Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and cost factors
 •  Assisting in project cost control and budget management

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Project Manager should have the following:

 •  Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, related, or similar experience
 •  5+ years of experience with with a diverse project background including ground up health care construction, K-12, Higher education, or other commercial
 •  Experience with Procore, Bluebeam or Sage.
 •  Ability to breakdown construction operations into a logical sequence of activities creating construction schedules
 •  Strong analytical and mathematical skills
 •  Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
 •  Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy
