The Project Manager is responsible for the quality and budget of the projects delivered by the team. The experienced Project Manager manages key client projects. Project management responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope.
Oversee all aspects of projects. Supervise and monitor project teams and other projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of project. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project. Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects.

Your day will look like this:

 •  In collaboration with the project office team, participate in the preparation of studies, plans and specifications of the projects.
 •  Prepare the implementation of the different phases of the project’s schedules: develop both the work plan, budget, resources allocation, timing, and estimated deliveries
 •  Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
 •  Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
 •  Maintain project database
 •  Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
 •  Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
 •  Use and continually develop leadership skills
 •  Establish and maintain communication with customers, general contractors, and architects, and act as a liaison (inform the client of any anomaly or unexpected issues in the context of the project, official correspondence, monitoring deliverables, meetings, minutes, etc.)
 •  In collaboration with the controller of the division, perform monitoring of the budget and present periodic job costing
 •  Ensure that the required quality standards, as stipulated in the contract documents, are applied
 •  Obtain all required approvals of organizations for the implementation of projects
 •  Ensure the health and safety on sites through training and prevention
 •  Participate in kick-off meetings and post-mortem
 •  Organize meetings with internal teams as well as customers as needed for project coordination
 •  Ensure the integration and synchronization of the various team involved
 •  In collaboration with the System Designer(s), participate in the establishment of performance measures gives guidance as part of their daily activities on the project sites
 •  Perform various monitored project processes and make the associated reporting (actual and anticipated costs, timing, deliverables, risks, other if applicable)
 •  Monitor the change notices
 •  Other duties as assigned

Your profile:

Education:

 •  High school diploma
 •  Bachelors in project management or business administration preferable

Experience:

 •  5+ years Project management experience or equivalent experience
 •  Hands-on experience with developing projects and overseeing project teams
 •  Proven success working with all levels of management

Knowledge:

 •  Basic knowledge of audio, lighting, and video
 •  Expertise on construction sites (Health & Safety meetings, inspections, OHS prevention, etc.)
 •  Knowledge of project management
 •  Excellent knowledge of Office suite software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Outlook)
 •  Salesforce and D365 experience preferred

Specific Requirements:

 •  PMP certification (an asset)
 •  CTS Certification (an asset)
 •  Ability to manage multiple teams
 •  Ability to manage construction calendars and budget
 •  Experience with system design and AutoCAD (an asset)
 •  Ability to travel to different job sites throughout the United States
