My client is hiring an Accounting Supervisor to join their large and growing organization. The ideal candidate will have a manufacturing background specific to Cost Accounting and Inventory Management. Additionally, must be CPA certified or on the CPA track to obtaining it within a timely manner.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field
• CPA or CPA Eligible REQUIRED
• Manufacturing experience required
• Cost Accounting & Inventory management required
• 8 plus years of progressive experience in accounting
• 1-2 years of leadership experience

responsibilities:
• Cost planning: Leading the cost planning and forecasting process with various departments, including supply chain, capacity planning, and manufacturing overhead
• Product costing: Setting up, maintaining, and revaluating product costing
• Inventory: Managing the inventory revaluation process, including vendor on-boarding, payment terms, and spending analysis
• Financial reports: Preparing and analyzing monthly P&L statements, including variance analysis, trends, and flux analysis
• Cost reports: Overseeing the preparation and analysis of cost reports and costing audits
• Cost reduction: Leading the advocacy for material variance mitigation and cost reductions
• Internal controls: Establishing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations
qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field
• CPA or CPA Eligible REQUIRED
