Doota Industrial America is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Journeyman to join our team in the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry. As a Journeyman, you will work with seasoned professionals to install, maintain, and repair a variety of electrical and electronic equipment while adhering to safety standards and procedures.

As a Journeyman, you will have the opportunity to join forces with our esteemed partners such as Samsung, LG, HP, SK Innovation, and Hyundai, to help make strides in the realm of environmental CEMS. With our Round Rock office launching in 2019, we are able to offer the best of both worlds - the agility of a start-up and the stability of an enterprise.
You will be part of a team dedicated to crafting the future of our industry.
Responsibilities
Install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment
Troubleshoot equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment
Handle wiring, electrical and electronic components, and circuit testing
Read and interpret drawings and schematics
Identify and repair malfunctions in electrical and electronic systems
Complete preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when working with electricity
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of journeyman experience in the electrical or electronic manufacturing industry
Journeyman's license or certification preferred
Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
Ability to use electrical and electronic test equipment for troubleshooting
Knowledge of electrical and electronic components and circuitry
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify malfunctions
Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures and guidelines consistently
