• Support monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
• Calculate labor costs
• Prepare reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
• Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmark

• Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel (pivots, vlookups, xlookups)
• Experience with Job Costing
• General ledger experience
• Knowledge of Balance Sheet Reconciliation
• Proficiency in bank reconciliations
• 5+ years of overall general accounting experience
• must be willing to work ON-SITE On Long Island
• BA/BS in Accounting
• Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects
• Strong organization skills
• ERP system experience
