Marketplace Foods in Hayward, Wisconsin is on the search for a full-time Frozen & Dairy Assistant Department Manager to join our team!
The Assistant Department Manager assists the Frozen & Dairy Department Manager with ensuring the successful operation of the department.
This position is responsible for:
• assisting with breaking down the shipments/loads received at the store and moving inventory to the shelves
• checking product dates and rotating product to ensure freshness
• scanning out and managing shrink
• providing exceptional guest service to our guests by helping them find items they are looking for and greeting each guest with a friendly "hello"
Additionally, this role will help provide training, leadership, and direction to part-time stock clerks and team members within the department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join a growing store and company!
