About the Opportunity:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work closely with the Director of ACC to implement behavior support plans and provide direct behavioral therapy to clients. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.

What you will be doing as a Behavior Therapist:

Implement behavior intervention plans developed by the BCBA.

Collect and analyze data on client progress and behaviors.

Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.

Provide direct one-on-one therapy to clients, focusing on enhancing social, communication, and daily living skills.

Support clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.

Apply ABA techniques to foster positive behavior change.

Ensure accurate documentation of client progress and treatment sessions.

Collaborate effectively with treatment team members, including parents, caregivers, and other professionals.

Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician is necessary

Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required.

Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships with clients and their families.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A strong dedication to be present daily (including dependable transportation).

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
