Senior Data Scientist - Real World Evidence

Luminary Group is currently partnered with a leading life science company who are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Real World Evidence (RWE) to join their team. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for driving the analysis and interpretation of real-world data to generate valuable insights and support evidence-based decision making in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

 •  Lead and guide the development and implementation of data mining and statistical modeling techniques to analyze complex real-world evidence (RWE) datasets.
 •  Preprocess and clean large-scale real-world data to ensure data quality and integrity.
 •  Apply advanced statistical and machine learning algorithms to extract meaningful insights and patterns from RWE data.
 •  Develop predictive models to forecast outcomes and trends based on real-world evidence.
 •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to interpret analysis findings and communicate results to stakeholders.
 •  Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in data science and real-world evidence.
 •  Implement data visualization techniques to effectively communicate analysis results.
 •  Lead the development of data-driven products and solutions for the healthcare industry.
 •  Mentor and provide guidance to junior data scientists.

Requirements
 •  Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
 •  Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, preferably with a focus on real-world evidence (RWE) and the healthcare industry.
 •  Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing data science projects.
 •  Strong knowledge of data mining, statistical modeling, and machine learning algorithms.
 •  Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.
 •  Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
 •  Solid understanding of database systems and SQL for data querying and manipulation.
 •  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find insights in complex datasets.
 •  Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
 •  Experience with healthcare data and familiarity with healthcare data standards is highly desirable.
 •  Understanding of regulatory requirements and ethics related to data analysis in healthcare.
