POSITION SUMMARY
Plans and prepares production In collaboration with Master Scheduler for manufacture of industrial or commercial products by performing the following duties.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Workflow Planning: Systematically plans workflows for each department, aligning with established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
Efficient Coordination: Coordinates seamlessly with Purchasing to manage Sub Contract Services effectively.
Documentation Expertise: Manages the completion of essential shipping paperwork (C of C’s, Data Packs, etc.) in collaboration with QA to ensure adherence to shipment dates.
Inventory Validation: Validates crucial inventory transactions, such as materials issued to the work order and completed parts to Finished Goods.
Real-time Job Tracking: Maintains up-to-date status reports for all assigned jobs, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Quality Assurance: Conducts thorough examinations of outgoing shipments to guarantee compliance with specified quality standards.
Proactive Communication: Informs Program Management promptly about job statuses and addresses any potential issues that could impact on-time delivery.
Optimized Production Sequencing: Plans the sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations to provide clear guidance to production workers.
Operational Coordination: Actively communicates with area supervisors to expedite product delivery, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Project Status Assessment: Confers with department supervisors to assess the status of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with timelines.
Adaptive Scheduling: Proactively expedites operations causing delays and adjusts schedules to accommodate unforeseen conditions, ensuring operational efficiency.
Detailed Reporting: Prepares comprehensive production reports, offering insights into key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Professional Accountability: Demonstrates responsibility and accountability by consistently adhering to Granite State Manufacturing policies and safety practices, ensuring a professional, safe, and clean work environment.
