About the Opportunity:
Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a thriving regional medical clinic in Stockton, CA to find a qualified Primary Care Physician (PCP) to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced physician to provide comprehensive primary care to a diverse patient population in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including health histories and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses in adults and potentially pediatrics (depending on the practice).
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests.
Provide preventative care services, including immunizations and health screenings.
Educate and counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease management.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Successful completion of a residency program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or a related specialty.
Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice by a nationally recognized board.
Geriatric Board Certification a plus.
Active California Physician License without Restrictions.
State Controlled Substance (CDS) Certification and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration.
Valid State Driver's License with a clean DMV record.
Copy of recent Vehicle Insurance required.
