This is a full time/direct hire position offering a competitive salary with full benefits package.
Title of position: Avionics Technician
Employment Location: Charlotte, NC
Responsibilities:
Avionics systems repair and installations.
Strong corporate aircraft avionics system troubleshooting skills a must.
Performs system configurations, and use of test equipment for systems checks.
Installs wire bundles and wiring harnesses.
Will be working in conjunction with engineering teams, customers, etc., strong communication skills needed.
Upload navigation databases, charts EGPWS, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
5 years or more related experience.
Strong knowledge on use of wiring schematics, blueprints, manuals etc.
Ability to solve problems and work unsupervised.
Sheet metal knowledge a plus.
Ability to work overtime and have weekend standby as assigned.
Ability to purchase and maintain tools as required.
Wiring harness layout and fabrication knowledge.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
A&P Certificate a plus.
Electrical installation, troubleshooting etc. training a plus.
