Job Description

HVAC Coordinator - Mechanical Contractor - Responsibilities:

 •  Project Coordination: Overseeing all aspects of HVAC projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating resources to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
 •  Design Coordination: Collaborating with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop HVAC system designs that meet project requirements and regulatory standards.
 •  Code Compliance: Ensuring HVAC designs adhere to local building codes, energy efficiency standards, and industry regulations, obtaining necessary permits and approvals as required.
 •  Documentation Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of HVAC design-related activities, including design calculations, technical specifications, and correspondence.

The Successful Applicant

HVAC Coordinator - Mechanical Contractor - Successful Candidate:

 •  2+ years of experience in HVAC design, installation, maintenance, or project coordination
 •  Experience in mechanical contracting or construction management are preferred.
 •  HVAC Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, components, and installation practices is essential. Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and regulations (such as ASHRAE, NFPA, and local building codes) is also important.
 •  Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to identify and resolve issues that may arise during HVAC projects.
