The Assistant Controller in construction oversees financial activities, ensuring accurate data and compliance. Reporting to the Controller/CFO, they handle financial reporting, budgeting, analysis, internal controls, and collaborate with teams for effective financial management.

Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pm

Job Requirements:
3. 5 years of experience as a sr. accountant or assistant controller.
Preferred industry experience in construction, real estate, property management, etc.
What you would do on the job:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare timely financial statements.
Assist in monthly/quarterly reports.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Contribute to annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor and analyze budget performance.
Financial Analysis:
Identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
Assist in capital investment evaluations.
Internal Controls:
Implement and maintain internal controls.
Ensure compliance with financial policies.
Audit Support:
Collaborate with external auditors.
Address audit findings.
Cash Management:
Monitor cash flow and liquidity.
Optimize cash management strategies.
Tax Compliance:
Assist in tax filings and ensure compliance.
Stay informed about tax law changes.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the accounting team.
