Overview:

The Sponsor seeks software development support to implement analytics and a web-based user interface which supports discovery of threats and anomalies.

Software Developer (Systems Software)The Sponsor s office seeks to minimize risk in supply chain activities by anticipating issues, responding to concerns, and advising decision-makers on risks. The Sponsor accomplishes its mission by working collaboratively with mission partners for the safety and security of the Sponsor organization.
The Sponsor is a forward-leaning, multidisciplinary group of supply chain, technology, and analyst experts leveraging all-source threat reporting, industry best practices, and lessons learned from offensive operations in order to identify risks and champion mitigation strategies for a secure and resilient global supply chain.
The Sponsor s office researches and analyzes potential supply chain events looking for any nexus to any foreign services, and generates collection requirements to close supply chain gaps. This office promotes robust awareness and integrates analytic assessments in order to support supply chain operation executors and consumers.
The Sponsor seeks software development support that will focus on collaboration with team members and the Sponsor to implement analytics and a web-based user interface which supports discovery of threats and anomalies. The software developer will work closely with a team consisting of an IT PM, Data Scientist, Data Engineer as well as analysts and Sponsor industry experts and be responsible for designing and implementing a web-based user interface.
They will create and design elements that optimize user interaction and experience; ensure IT applications or systems are in compliance with Section 508 and Sponsor s accessibility standards; work to resolve technical issues including system design and maintenance; and work with the team to evaluate software and hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
They will work with the project manager to obtain information on limitations or capabilities; perform system testing and validation procedures; perform software programming and coding based on the Sponsor s requirements; and develop technical documentation to support the software development lifecycle.
The Software Developer will also design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes and design consequences; modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware if necessary, improve its performance, or upgrade interfaces; recommend and plan the installation of new features and develop specifications and performance requirements; and provide Weekly Status Reports, for example, programming project specifications, activities, or status.

  1.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience working with Amazon Web Services Environments or other cloud service providers (CSP) environments.

  3.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with Web Services.
  4.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with SQL.
  5.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with Python.
  6.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with JavaScript, in the context of web/html development.
  7.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  8.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience developing unit testing of code components or complete applications.
  9.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience working on a variety of software development projects.
 10.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience designing algorithms and flowcharts for software programs and systems.
 11.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software.
 12.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software performance.
 13.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with program management framework.
 14.  (Mandatory) Demonstrated experience with User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) development, designing complete user interfaces and user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
 15.  (Desired) Demonstrated experience as a full-stack developer.
 16.  (Desired) Demonstrated experience understanding concepts of software engineering.
 17.  (Desired) Demonstrated on-the-job experience building, instrumenting, and monitoring analytic pipelines.
 18.  (Desired) Demonstrated experience deploying into production machine learning (ML) based technologies in Python.
 19.  (Desired) Demonstrated experience with Sponsor, Sponsors Industry, and diplomatic information security requirements and policies.
 20.  (Desired) Demonstrated experience engaging with Sponsor customers, stakeholders, and partners.
 21.  (Desired) Demonstrated experience of supply chain risk management principles.
 22.  (Desired) Demonstrated experience with Accreditation and Authorization (A&A) process.
 23.  (Desired) Bachelor or Master Degree in an IT discipline.

MUST be a US Citizen with a U.S. Government clearance - Intel with Polygraph
