Description/Comment:
This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting equipment issues, performing preventative maintenance activities on equipment, maintaining the technical library and spare parts inventory, calibrating and adjusting machine tools and equipment, modifying machines for specialized functions and performing minor building maintenance functions.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair equipment, referring to manuals, schematics, blueprints and other relevant documentation.
Troubleshoot equipment issues, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic, making all necessary corrections and returning the equipment to optimum condition in a cost effective and timely manner.
Calibrate and adjust machine tools and equipment.
Modify machines and building for specialized functions.
Perform minor building maintenance functions, including plumbing and electrical.
Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S principles.
All necessary tools will be provided
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Four years hands-on maintenance experience
Must know how to use torque wrench, basic tools, impact tools, measuring tools and electrical diagnostic equipment, such as multi-meters
Must be willing to obtain additional training for mobile equipment, confined space, high voltage, lock out/tag out
Must be able to pass a mobile equipment test
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferences:
Knowledge of GD&T
Ability to read a basic blueprints, hydraulics diagrams, electrical diagrams
Previous experience working with furnaces and induction equipment
Previous HVAC experience
Ability to use cutting torches and basic welding
