Qualifications:
The Research Associate will support the validation of Client therapeutic candidates by performing hands-on, bench-level research involving both cell culture and tissue-based experiments, as well as sample processing and analyses from in animal studies.
The successful candidate will work with the R&D team to coordinate in studies with organizations and manage sample inventory. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out in vitro studies and support analysis from in vivo studies
• Manage studies conducted , and with academic collaborators, including shipment coordination and sample inventory management
• Train new team members in use of equipment, laboratory procedures and protocols as needed
• Critically assess data generated from diverse experimental approaches in cell and molecular biology
Requirements
• Bachelors with 2+ years/Masters with 1+ years of work experience in academia/industry preferably in neuroscience.
• Experience performing basic techniques in molecular biology and cell biology, including qRT-PCR and immunoassays
• Ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative scientific environment
Responsibilities:
