Overview:

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Manager of Legal Technology and Graphics, the Legal Technology Senior Analyst provides advanced technology support for trials, hearings and arbitrations, while assisting with technology support for all stages of the litigation process.
The Legal Technology Senior Analyst/Trial will be responsible for implementation of litigation applications and technology based solutions. Availability for overtime and flexibility for travel are required.

Responsibilities:

 •  Provide consultation on trial support services to case teams, war room, on-site and courtroom technology, on-site support and trial presentation services.
 •  Provide trial support services to case teams, including coordination of on-site and courtroom technology, on-site support and trial presentation services. Coordinate and prepare presentations, trial databases and equipment for use at trial and in war rooms. Coordinate and provide trial technology services such as video clip creation, exhibit annotation and other high-end presentation needs.
 •  Operate presentation software and hardware during trial/hearings and assist with witness preparation, as well as opening statement and closing argument presentations.
 •  Responsible for the hands-on technical and project management aspects of trial support.
 •  Assist with litigation databases, including their creation and maintenance. Oversee data acquisition and delivery to vendors, verify data integrity, import images, data and transcripts into databases, export data, reformat and convert data and design forms and reports. Maintain accurate records of data received and stored.
 •  Utilize Relativity, Concordance, LAW, Microsoft Access, Excel, Adobe, LiveNote, CaseMap, Outlook, Lotus Notes, Sanction, Trial Director, dtSearch, and text editing and conversion tools.
 •  Provide case teams with guidance and recommendations regarding the selection of outside vendors. Act as liaison between the case team and vendor throughout the project.
 •  Work with internal Information Services to determine and set-up on-site war room/trial equipment.
 •  Develop and provide trial technology related training to case teams and the Legal Technology department.
 •  Interact with Court staff to create and execute plan to set-up Court room equipment.
 •  Serve as a mentor to and provide leadership and training for Legal Technology Analysts and Technicians. Work with junior staff members to delegate work assignments.
 •  Comply with department and firm administrative procedures and policies.
 •  Assist with firm and departmental projects as needed and perform other work-related duties as assigned.
 •  Stays current, tests and advises case teams on cutting edge trial technology solutions.
 •  Responsible for working on client, firm and department related projects for 1600 hours per year with a minimum of 1200 hours billed to client-related work.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

 •  The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of litigation support experience.
 •  Requires excellent organization, project management and communication skills.
 •  Must have advanced knowledge of litigation applications and discovery processes and technologies, including e-discovery, advanced understanding of the entire litigation support process and substantial document control and case management experience.
 •  Experience working with vendors on pricing proposals and project management.
 •  Requires experience with data analytics, TAR and experience with litigation support applications such as Relativity, Concordance, LiveNote, CaseMap, Sanction, Trial Director, ASPs, or other automated discovery tools.

The anticipated pay range for this role is NY: $105,000
 •  158,000 and DC,CHI,BOS: $100,000
 •  $151,000, which represents our good faith and reasonable estimate of the starting salary range at the time of posting.

In addition, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
The actual offered rate for this position will be determined based on job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data and consideration of internal equity.

Working Conditions:

This position requires hybrid on-site presence as an essential function of the role. Consistent and predictable on-site presence is required for ongoing business continuity, professional development and effective collaboration with colleagues and management.
