About Our Client

Our client has been in business for over 40+ years specializing in large-scale drywall projects, including museums and office buildings, hospitals and high-tech laboratories, condominiums and hotels, as well as office fit-ups. Their scope of work includes drywall, light gauge metal framing, misc.
metals, rough carpentry, finish work, acoustical tile ceilings, wood framing, doors/frames/hardware, exterior cladding systems and speciality metals. Additionally, our client pride themselves on the quality they provide, with most of their business being 99% repeat clients.

Job Description

The Drywall Project Manager's key responsibilities include:

 •  Provide foundational consistency in processes from preconstruction to project management
 •  Analyze weekly and JTD production and review any significant over/under vs estimated production for weekly production and review with foreman cause of over/under.
 •  Understand how an estimate is built, planned, priced and executed.
 •  Manage communication between clients, field staff, subcontractors, and vendors
 •  Project financial management
 •  Maintain and build relationships across all relevant constituents internally and externally.
 •  Track, project, and influence project performance
 •  Manage, track and report labor productivity
 •  Mentor, develop, and coach team members to improve leadership strength

The Successful Applicant

The successful Drywall Project Manager should have:

 •  5+ years of industry-specific experience
 •  Strong technical background in drywall construction
 •  3+ years of management experience
 •  Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently
 •  Solid interpersonal and communication skills
 •  Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry practices
 •  Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
