Position Summary: The Property Accounting Intern will be responsible for supporting the Property Accounting Team in reporting financial documentation to ownership monthly. In addition, extensive training and development will be provided to the interns in the program to increase their skill set with the goal of joining the Accounting Team full time at the end of the internship.

Responsibilities:

 •  Support the Accounting Team by completing ad-hoc requests according to needs of staff.
 •  Learn to prepare and complete bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and other monthly reporting requirements for full cycle accounting.
 •  Assist the Accounting Department with special client requests or reporting, as needed.
 •  Requires the use of detailed technical accounting skills to assess appropriateness of accounting treatment.
 •  Makes cash disbursement through wires and checks, prepares invoicing and inter-company collections, and maintains a daily cash balance.
 •  Can commit to 9.5 week Summer Intern program from May 29th-August 2nd.

Qualifications:

 •  Current college student – Junior year or entering senior year.
 •  Enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, or relevant degree program.

Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and possessing a valid driver’s license.
