Field Technician Needed in Albuqueque, NM
Must Have:
A+ Certification
Data center
Experience with Routers/switches
Server / storage hardware repair skills
SmartHands Hands on experience
Job Details:
The tech will support any of the cities in West Texas. The position is based out of Lubbock, TX since omany of the ticket may happen there. The tech has to be prepared to support clients between Midland, Lubbock, Amarillo and Abeline and near locations.
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico 87191
Is this contract to hire/possible extension? Yes
Shift start time and end time? 8-5 M-F + afterhours stand-by
Will the individual be required to work on site/is this remote? Onsite
Driving or Non-Driving? Driving
Candidate(s) are NOT paid to drive to and from work. All mileage during the day to the different work locations are reimbursed per the standard mileage plan.
Day to Day Work:
Break fix repair of Industry standard enterprise level servers, blades, storage and networking equipment. Working with various teams in the data center environment to schedule service outages, repairs, and validations, and inventory control and the associated paperwork.
Interact in a professional manner with onsite customer personnel and the local team.
Requested Skills:
Background in Hardware Server and /or Storage repairs, Data center experience as plus
Excellent communication skills.
Positive Attitude and mechanical aptitude to assist in troubleshooting complex.
Specific Server and Storage training will be provided
Learn and retain proprietary processes.
