A leading renewable energy company based in the heart of the Midwest, they prioritize community engagement and sustainable practices, delivering successful utility-scale solar projects nationwide. This team is looking to add talented project developers to help expand their development portfolio.

Job Description

The Project Developer (Renewables) will be responsible for
 •  Spearhead the evaluation and execution of sustainable energy projects in line with corporate growth strategies
 •  Be hands on throughout all development stages, from concept to construction hand-off, encompassing community engagement, land acquisition, regulatory research, permit procurement, transmission negotiation, and engineering planning.
 •  Identify and mitigate enterprise risks associated with ongoing projects.
 •  Direct the preparation of comprehensive proposals for potential power purchasers.
 •  Facilitate negotiations of various commercial contracts
 •  Site control, interconnection, permitting package

The Successful Applicant

The Project Developer (Renewables) will have
 •  Minimum of three (2) years experience in renewable energy industry with direct exposure to MISO market
 •  Direct experience in utility scale solar projects
 •  Experience with land development: landowner engagement, and negotiation/contracting, title resolution, agricultural land use/water restrictions
 •  Knowledge of governmental mandates, environmental regulations or customer/market signals that impact or facilitate new development of renewable projects
 •  Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred

$110,000 - $130,000 base salary
