Job Description
  1.  

Leadership and Supervision:

 •  Provide leadership and direction to the welding team, including robot operators, technicians, and welders.
 •  Supervise daily activities, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure productivity goals are met.
 •  Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
  2.  

Welding Operations Management:

 •  Oversee the setup, programming, and operation of robotic welding systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
 •  Coordinate with engineering and design teams to develop welding parameters and procedures that meet project requirements.
 •  Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to verify weld integrity and adherence to specifications.
  3.  

Training and Development:

 •  Provide training and mentorship to welding team members on robotic system operation, programming, and troubleshooting.
 •  Implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the welding workforce, including new technology advancements.
  4.  

Safety and Compliance:

 •  Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
 •  Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations as needed.
 •  Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to welding operations and robotics.
  5.  

Resource Management:

 •  Manage inventory levels of welding consumables, spare parts, and equipment to support uninterrupted production.
 •  Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to procure necessary materials and supplies in a timely manner.
 •  Optimize resource utilization and minimize waste to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant
 •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding operations, with a focus on robotic welding systems.
 •  Proven leadership abilities with experience in supervising and motivating teams.
 •  In-depth knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and equipment, including robotic welding systems (e.g., MIG, TIG, resistance welding).
 •  Proficiency in robotic programming languages and welding software
 •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize processes.
 •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
 •  Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
