Commercial Construction Superintendent
Our client, a leader in the commercial construction industry, is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Construction Superintendent to oversee the successful execution of complex projects ranging from $20 million to $200 million.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, ensuring exceptional quality, adherence to budget and timelines, and the safety of all personnel.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive leadership and oversight for all aspects of assigned commercial construction projects, from pre-construction planning and budgeting to final execution and completion.
• Manage a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors, vendors, and craft workers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Develop and implement a project plan that prioritizes safety, on-time completion, and adherence to budget constraints while maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Proactively identify and resolve project issues or conflicts, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
• Maintain meticulous project records and documentation, ensuring clear communication and transparency for all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a closely related field (highly preferred).
• A minimum of 6 years of experience as a lead superintendent in commercial construction, with a proven track record of success on large-scale projects exceeding $20 million.
• Demonstrated experience managing major commercial construction projects such as schools, hospitals, airport terminals, or other multi-million dollar developments.
• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and mentor a diverse team.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to navigate complex situations and implement effective solutions.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in construction management software and industry best practices.
