The Institute on Development and Disability within the Department of Pediatrics at OHSU works with patients, families, clinicians, researchers and many other professionals to meet the goal of improving the lives of people with disabilities. We perform research and care to support every patient, from premature babies to older adults, facing changes in life due to the onset of disabling conditions.
With more than 100 years of practice, we understand how to best meet the needs of our patients and their families in Oregon and beyond.

About CDRC Eugene

The Eugene campus of the Child Development and Rehabilitation Center provides interdisciplinary clinical services for persons with developmental disabilities and other special health care needs. CDRC Eugene programs and services are provided at the Clinical Services Building on the University of Oregon campus.

Function/Duties of Position:

This position is expected to positively promote the mission of OHSU and CDRC by providing administrative support and patient access services to Eugene CDRC’s Clinical Programs through a wide variety of secretarial, technical and administrative work.
The position supports the Center and its clinicians by providing excellent customer service through prompt and professional communication skills, face-to-face & telephone customer contact skills, and excellent problem-solving skills. This position will provide

administrative support for Eugene CDRC’s Clinics. Performs requirements for staff members as outlined in Compliance Roles and Responsibilities in the OHSU H&C.
 •  Sending & tracking of patient paperwork, labeling and scanning records into EPIC, providing administrative support to PAS and MA team.
 •  Answering and routing main clinic calls to appropriate staff
 •  Provides as needed front desk coverage during lunches, breaks, and staff vacations. Answering phones and checking patients in and out.
 •  Archiving of clinical data and management/interacting with data management vendors

Position is located in Eugene, OR

Required Qualifications:

 •  Enrolled in or on vacation from Undergraduate Program (minimum 6 credit hours).
 •  The individual should demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
 •  Ability to work independently. Reliable and professional. Flexible during times of change.
 •  Proficient in computer operating software (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Teams).

Preferred Qualifications:

 •  Proficient use of Spanish is desirable.
 •  Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Power Point
