Responsibilities
• Provides project management and technical leadership on environmental planning and compliance projects, including those for compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
• Manages portfolio of clients with multiple projects
• Responsible for delivering revenues assigned from specific clients as a result of repeat business resulting from client satisfaction
• Consistently delivers profit margins planned
• Manages more complex clients and projects
• Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognizing risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate and eliminate such
• Directs staff to operate and minimize exposure to project risks
• Supervise and mentor team members with multiple projects or programs assignment
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Biology, Environmental Planning, Natural/Biological Resource Management or other related field experience
• 10 plus years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education with environmental planning and compliance project experience, including those for compliance with National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
• Environmental Assessment and Permitting experience
• Permit application and report preparation for local, state and federal agencies
• Experience with the resources and regulatory agencies in Texas
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Solid time management and follow-through skills, with the ability to simultaneously work on and manage multiple tasks / projects with tight deadlines
• Valid driver's license is required
