Our client's Investment Funds Practice is actively seeking a highly qualified associate to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex transactions and be involved in the structuring and fundraising of private investment funds across a diverse range of asset classes.
Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in private equity fund formation and be well-versed in related operational matters & high academics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal advice on the formation, structuring, and fundraising of private investment funds.
• Advise on sponsor internal arrangements and fund operations.
• Handle regulatory and compliance issues relating to investment funds.
• Represent fund sponsors around the globe across a broad spectrum of asset classes.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop innovative solutions for fund formation and operation.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues pertaining to fund investments.
• Prepare and review legal documents and agreements related to fund formation and operations.
Requirements:
• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Bar in the state of the hiring office.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in private equity fund formation and related operational matters.
• Demonstrated expertise in the legal and regulatory aspects of fund formation and investment management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality work.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
