Senior Sales Executive – Specialty Green Coffee

Overview:
Position Purpose and Impact: The Senior Sales Executive will collaborate with the Specialty Green Coffee team to contribute to the continued growth of an existing and profitable business. This person will be given responsibility to assist in developing overall business strategy and work with existing client relationships and market to prospective new clients and suppliers.

Responsibilities:
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
• Execute and manage the purchase and sale of commodities and related logistics in support of coffee buyers, within the operational and risk requirements of StoneX Commodity Solutions, LLC.
• Assist in the managing of day-to-day operations of the StoneX Specialty Coffee business, including coordination of front office activities, business development, acquisitions, and strategy development.
• Identify strategic opportunities, including but not limited to supply agreements, asset optimization, inventory management.
• Leverage trade relationships and industry knowledge to provide synergies across the supply chain to strengthen client relationships.
• Oversee junior sales executives - providing guidance, establishing goals, and ensuring accountability.
• Assist with the development of custom reporting and analytics utilizing internal support resources to improve market decision making and traceability.
• Analyze individual client operations to determine market exposure, price sensitivity and financial risks.
• Cross-sell other products and services.
• Assist in collection of valuation data and supporting documentation for commodity inventory and forward contracts.
• Assist in the monitoring and managing of daily operations of the specialty coffee portfolio, including risk limits, delivery schedules, trade documentation and trade settlement.
• Communicate with necessary departments within the company such as operations, credit, and compliance, and risk.
• Conduct meetings with personnel to discuss markets, clients, services, industry, and other pertinent information.
• This list of responsibilities may not be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 10 years in green coffee merchandising, including experience in specialty coffee
• Detailed knowledge of specialty coffee grading and quality standards
• Understanding and experience in managing with commodity sustainability programs
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to exercise good judgement in assessing opportunity and risks
• Ability to work with and contribute to the build of teams
• Proficient in Microsoft office products
Physical requirements/Working conditions:
• Maintain prompt attendance
• Travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
• Dynamic, time-sensitive environment
Hiring Salary Range $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.) Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
