Sr. Director of E-Commerce

As the Director of E-commerce, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing the e-commerce strategy for our company. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, enhancing customer experience, and optimizing our online presence across various platforms.
This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of e-commerce trends, digital marketing, and customer behavior.

Responsibilities:

  1.  E-commerce Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies aligned with company objectives to drive sales, increase market share, and improve customer acquisition and retention.
  2.  Platform Management: Oversee the management and optimization of e-commerce platforms, including website(s), mobile apps, and third-party marketplaces. Ensure seamless user experience, functionality, and performance.
  3.  Digital Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and execute digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and affiliate programs, to drive traffic and conversions.
  4.  Merchandising and Product Management: Work closely with product teams to optimize product listings, pricing, and assortment. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for product expansion and improvement.
  5.  Customer Experience Enhancement: Continuously improve the online shopping experience to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. Implement strategies to enhance site usability, navigation, and checkout process.
  6.  Analytics and Performance Monitoring: Utilize data analytics and KPIs to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Monitor sales trends, conversion rates, customer feedback, and competitive landscape.
  7.  Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of e-commerce professionals, including marketers, merchandisers, analysts, and developers. Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure team success and growth.
  8.  Partnership Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with key e-commerce partners, vendors, agencies, and technology providers. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including IT, operations, finance, and customer service.
  9.  Budget Management: Develop and manage the e-commerce budget effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.

  1.  Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  2.  Proven experience (10 years) in e-commerce management or related role, preferably in a retail or consumer goods industry.
