Civil Engineer

We are sourcing a civil engineer to assist engineers with entry-level engineering design tasks, including development of plans, quantity calculations, cost estimating, and writing technical specifications.
Duties:
• Produce drawings using computer-assisted drafting systems (AutoCAD and Civil 3D).
• Work collaboratively with multidiscipline design teams.
• Prepare and review drawings to communicate engineering or architectural ideas.
• Perform moderate design tasks and prepare portions of project documents.
• Work independently and collaboratively on planning, design, and/or research on conventional civil engineering projects.
• Evaluate, analyze, interpret, select, and apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria for civil engineering projects.
• Keep informed of new developments and requirements of civil engineering and civil design.
Requirements
• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering preferred
• 0-5 years of experience in drafting and design for engineering plans and documents
• Knowledge of drafting methods and procedures; manual drafting experience desired
• Experience using computer-aided design and software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively in a team framework
• Understand, analyze, and process complex technical information and materials
